i am talking almost the skin of the lime not the inside The only true finances of sterilizing something porous, like a lime's skin, is by heat it to above boiling in an autoclave for give or take a few 10 minutes.
The previous methods will reduce the microorganism count, but these methods are not "sterilization."
If you want to devour it, I'd recommend washing it and next wiping it down near alcohol. Thats easy and lawfully effective.
Pour some boiling wet over it briefly.
Put it in tequila.
Ive never hear of eating a lime close to that, the rine??
What makes you deem that you need to sterilize the lime's skin? you dont chomp through it anyway.
You just want to wash the skin beside water to verbs it from soil, dirt, etc. besides, our body have adequate self defense 'army' to keep you respectable after eating a water-washed-lime.
Not sure why you want to sterilize the lime's skin, but there's a unusual product on the market (been out a few months) that cleans fruit and veggies so the skin is out of danger to eat and pedal. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the product, but it's found effective the product aisles in the supermarkets. Also, there's a unusual product out by Clorox that is out of danger to clean areas of your home where on earth you place food and isn't harmful. You can use it contained by your fridge's veggie and fruit bins. Check the cleaning and produce aisles, you're bound to find both products.
